Met Line and my Day Travelcard took me further than London museums and art galleries today. I wondered how much would have changed in Harrow. Soper’s is on its second reincarnation, the Wimpy bar opposite probably long gone and places Tara and I went to – such as the Gingham Kitchen – now different places. The ABC cinema is Gold’s Gym but Harrow hill looks much the same – except the King’s Head is no longer a pub.
